WEEK 1: Progress
So today marks the end of week one of my quest to become a healthier person. I’ve been doing plenty of exercise and completely changed my diet as I stated before and I feel a whole lot better. I’m taking things a bit slower than previously anticipated because I hurt my arms early on since I was pushing too hard and wanted to do things too fast, too quickly. So I’ve dialed it back and now I’ll take it slowly and once I feel ready, I’ll elevate the work out to match what my body feels capable of doing.
So tonight I weighted myself since I did for the first time in ages last Sunday and I was happily surprised that I lost 2 kgs (4.4 lbs) and that just gave me even more motivation to continue doing what I’m doing right now until I can start putting some proper effort in lifting weights and what have you (I have yet to buy the materials though).
All in all, I feel better, I am as motivated as ever and I can’t wait to see what happens next :)

Today is the day!
I got sick two days ago real bad and I think that gave me the red flag I needed that I can’t keep on going like this anymore and I really need to get a handle on how I should live my life. I’ve always been a big kinda guy and it always had its drawbacks and I guess I wasn’t worried enough about it. I tried a few times over the years to change it but I lost motivation too quick, well no more.
This time, I’ve had enough and it’s really goddamn time for me to be healthy and become healthier. So today I’m throwing out all my eating habits out of the window and will start fresh (or at least mix it up since I need some time to adapt).
Anyhow, I thought it would be a good idea to document it in my blog so I can have progress somewhere to keep and keep me motivated throughout this whole thing.
My goal here isn’t really to lose weight, it’s more to lose my fat and gain muscle for the rest of it so I don’t look the way I do no more and just improve as much as I can. So I’m thinking I’m going to fluctuate a lot and anyways, we will see where it goes from here I guess.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I got some exercice to do, hehe :D
